One year of Logan!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING BOY! You're one whole year old and we can't believe how fast it goes.
You're such a funny, lovable, cheeky, mischievous little boy who is always on the go. You love mummy and daddy alot, you also love teletubbies, bing and baby shark!
We've loved watching you grow and learn and cant wait for more.
WEIGHT/HEIGHT - At 12 months Logan is still the same as 9 months, nothing much has changed but hes still on track. He's definitely getting taller as we're struggling to find clothes for his long legs.
ROUTINE - Wake up at 10 am, Logan will drink almost all of a 9oz bottle (now on cows milk), have bum change then back to sleep for 1 to 2 hours, wake up breakfast, play for a few hours then have a nap in the afternoon, wake up and have tea then play again and bedtime from 9pm.
I thought our routine would change once I was back at work but Logan has surprised us and stayed the same.
As you can see from the routine we have 2 bottles a day of cows milk and 2-3 meals. We're slowly weaning him from jars onto normal food, he loves jacket potatoes and toast! Yogurts are still a firm fave though.
SLEEPING - Logan is now in his own room and he made the process such a dream, he went in there perfectly! At bedtime he has his bottle in with us, cuddles and falls asleep and then into bed. Now hes in his own room he doesnt wake up in the night anymore which is FAB!
We now nap once, twice if were lucky a day!
SIZES - As ive said before I find sizing really difficult so it depends on where we shop, at the moment we're in size 4 nappies, 3-6 in shorts, 6-9 for jeans with a belt, 9-12 in vests and sleepsuits and 12-18 in shoes :)
MILESTONES :
✷ Talking - we can now say baba, dada or daddy, mama, nana, hiya and uhoh
✷ Standing unaided
✷ Clapping
✷ Shakes head to say no
✷ Teeth - we now have 5 teeth, 3 on top and 2 on the bottom
The last few months have felt like a whirlwind of milestones, talking being the main one! Hes said alot in such a short space of time. Standing surprised us too, hes almost taking steps from standing!
In our 9 month post i mentioned teething and we now have 5 teeth! Teeth dont seem to bothering him to much now.
HOWS MAMA - A year on and I feel good, I've been back at work since March which has been great! Im working in a new pub and working with my sister in law which is lovely. With me being back at work Logan spends a full day with his dad on a Thursday and they're both loving it!
Mental health wise, days are mainly good unless I've had a bad day at work but coming home to both boys helps!
