11 newborn must haves

1. Baby carrier - Although we didnt use ours alot they really come in handy! We used ours on day trips but mainly at home when Logan was feeling particularly clingy. The one pictured is Mamia (ALDI's own brand) 3 in 1 carrier, it was perfect for us and we paid £15 for it!

2. 3 in 1 travel system - I loved our travel system so much, other than it being a little bulky it was perfect. In the newborn stage we would have it set up with the carseat and used the carrycot as he got older. The one we used was Red Kite Fusion in Plum which has now been sadly discontinued as the colour is lovely! We got ours at a huge steal of £150 in a baby event.

3. baby swing - We got really lucky and found that Logan loved his baby swing, he'd happily sit and then eventually fall asleep. Swings are really great for when you need to get anything done, we used ours alot and theyre great as baby gets older too, we'd attach toys onto ours. Swing pictured is a Graco baby Delight which we owned.

4. Nappy cream - If your baby gets sore easily like Logan did, a great nappy cream is worth investing in! I now swear by Metanium!

5. Drying rack for baby bottles - My mother in law actually bought us two of these when I was pregnant and I honestly didnt expect to use them but theyre fab! Ours was from Wish, linked here.

6. Bath seat - We was originally bought a baby bath but then my mum found a bath seat hugely discounted, I think that it scanned in at £1.50 instead of £15. I think it must have been an error but the staff were fine with it! Logan loved bath time up and having the seat made it so much easier.

7. Boxes of wipes and big packs of nappies - Stocking up on wipes and nappies while pregnant was probably one of the best things i'd done! Anything to make newborn days easier, i bought enough to last us a good while. Baby events are perfect times to get them. I use ASDAs own, both nappies and wipes and have no problems with either.

8. Microwave sterilising bags - Although we had a big steriliser we never needed to used it as we had these, they take 3 minutes in the microwave and can be used 20 times each! We use tommee tippee bottles and can fit in 3 bottles at a time, including lids and teats. Brands ive used include Munchkin and ASDA little angels.

9. Babygrows with integrated scratch mitts - I always found normal mitts would fall off so easily, having them integrated was genius! Logan tended to claw at his face alot and these stopped that, he also would pull his dummy out in the night and these also helped. Most babygrows now include these up to a certain amount of months.

10. Nuby dummies - Logan loves Nuby dummies, we tried a few brands but he loved these. They have such a huge range of designs and theyre so fairly priced. ALDI now stock these when they have baby events and they only charge £1.99 for 2.

11. Moses basket - Other than napping on Sam or I, Logan would only sleep in his moses basket. We would move ours up and downstairs daily, it helped that it was so lightweight so I could move it around and it didnt put too much strain on my body if I was in pain after having baby. We bought ours second hand (with new mattress) but ASDA have some in for as little as £23 right now! Linked here.

What would your must haves be? My list could have endless.
